Sulfur

Chemical properties of the element sulfur

The relative atomic mass of sulfur is 32.064. The element sulfur occurs in three allotropes. Two of the three sulfur allotropes are crystalline. They are called rhombic sulfur or rhombic sulfur crystals and monoclinic sulfur or monoclinic sulfur crystals. The other sulfur allotrope is amorphous.
